About Me

I offer a space that is thoughtful, steady and grounded in empathy.

My work in the arts outside therapy continues to shape how I listen —
with curiosity, sensitivity and an openness to what isn’t immediately obvious.

My Approach

Therapy with me isn’t about rushing towards solutions. It’s a space to
slow down and become curious about what is happening in your thoughts,
feelings and relationships — including things that may be difficult to
put into words.

My approach is integrative and psychodynamic. This means we may explore
how experiences and relationships from your past connect with how you
experience yourself and others today. I will listen carefully and reflect
with you, sometimes offering thoughts or observations, but without trying
to fit your experience into a particular box.

There may be moments of quiet, uncertainty or not knowing. We work with
whatever emerges, at a pace that feels manageable. Over time, this can
create space for greater understanding, new perspectives and different
possibilities.

An Inclusive Space

I work with adults from a wide range of backgrounds and experiences,
and aim to offer a space in which all parts of you are welcome.

I have extensive experience supporting LGBTQ+ clients and understand
that sexuality, gender and identity can intersect with relationships,
family, belonging, shame and our sense of self in complex ways. You
don’t need to come to therapy specifically to talk about your identity
for it to be understood and respected as part of who you are.

My practice is LGBTQ+ affirmative, while remaining open to anyone who
feels my way of working might be right for them.

Could we work well together?

Finding the right therapist matters. If something about my approach
resonates with you, you’re welcome to get in touch. Our first session
gives us the opportunity to meet, talk about what brings you to therapy
and see how it feels to work together.
